This one-on-one tutoring program provides direct academic intervention to students with Down syndrome. Tutoring sessions vary based on student strengths and challenges while applying specific strategies, resources, and activities.
Tutoring sessions will also include general curriculum support, personalized learning materials, and homework help.
Registration is for a specific time slot on Wednesdays. During the first week of October, tutors will conduct a one-on-one meeting with the family to evaluate the student and determine the goals for the session.
The first tutoring session will take place on Wednesday, October 13th.
The fall session ends Wednesday, December 8th.
There will be no classes the week of November 22nd for Thanksgiving holiday.
All tutoring sessions will take place in person on Wednesdays at the DSC space in Bellevue.
