Description:
Join us for a unique summer camp designed specifically for adults with Down syndrome, ages 18 and up! The focus for this camp is building meaningful connections, having fun, and growing social skills in a supportive and engaging environment. Each day will include a different focus including dance, music, games, and more. One of the highlights of camp will be our "Speed Friendship" event, an exciting opportunity to meet new peers, discover shared interests, and identify who you connect with best! Through quick, structured conversations, participants will have the chance to learn about each other's hobbies, dreams, and favorite activities, all while practicing friendship-building skills.
Note- Participants should bring a lunch and water bottle to camp.
Age range: 18+ years
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, July 6-9th, 12:00-2:00pm
Monday-Thursday with 4 camp days total
Camp days are 2.0 hours in duration
