Grandparents

The DSC recognizes the contributions that all family members make to the health, well-being and happiness of people with Down syndrome. When you learn that someone you love is expecting a baby with Down syndrome, you naturally have concerns, and wonder what to say and do. There are resources that will help you through your initial, normal reactions of sadness and worry, and give you the information and perspective you need to welcome a grandchild with Down syndrome. The book Your Loved One is Having a Baby with Down Syndrome is available online for free.

We encourage you to learn as much about Down syndrome as you can at this time by exploring our site. We invite you to become a member of our organization and attend our events.
