A Lifelong Home for the Disability Community

SAME GREAT PROGRAMS. SAME GREAT PROVIDERS. ENDLESS POTENTIAL.

After years of dreaming, planning, and searching for the right space, DSC has purchased a new Community Campus in Bellevue!

Our University District Center has been home to so much learning, connection, friendship, and growth. But we have reached the limits of what our current space can accommodate. Programs are full, waitlists continue to grow, and we simply need more room to serve our community and expand what DSC can offer.

Opening January 2027, DSC will have a new home!

Highlights

  • A peaceful natural setting adjacent to Mercer Slough, creating opportunities for outdoor learning, recreation, and wellness.

  • Nearly 16,300 square feet on a 1.84-acre campus, providing the space needed to expand programs, welcome community partners, and serve more individuals and families for decades to come.

  • More families served, less waitlists.

  • A gym for health & fitness.

  • Expanded employment opportunities.

Purposefully located to expand access, strengthen partnerships, and serve families across the Puget Sound region.

The Community Campus was selected with one goal in mind: making it easier for more individuals and families to access the programs, services, and community they deserve. Its central location creates new opportunities for collaboration, accessibility, and future growth.

The Community Campus offers:

  • A central location that reduces travel time for families across the Puget Sound region.

  • Easy access to I-405 and I-90, making travel simpler from both the Eastside and Seattle.

  • Transit-accessible via the Wilburton Link Light Rail Station and Park & Ride, making programs more accessible for individuals and families.

Vision for the Future

Lifelong Learning & Community

From birth through adulthood, individuals will have access to specialized programs that build communication, confidence, independence, and lifelong skills with continuity of care.

Health & Wellness

Expanded fitness, recreation, and wellness opportunities will promote healthier, more active lives while creating new opportunities for connection and belonging.

Employment & Independence

Expanded skill-building, employment pathways, and real-world learning experiences will help individuals build confidence, gain independence, and prepare for meaningful employment.

Community, Connections, and Partnerships

By collaborating with organizations throughout the region, DSC will expand access to services and strengthen opportunities for people with Down syndrome and the broader intellectual and developmental disability community.

The Community Campus will allow DSC to expand opportunities for individuals with Down syndrome and other intellectual and developmental disabilities across every stage of life while creating a welcoming destination for families, partners, and the broader community.
