"The lead up to kindergarten is one of the most stressful life events for the parent of a child with special needs. I felt unprepared, uninformed, and overwhelmed prior to my daughter, Phoebe’s, kindergarten IEP meeting. I started attending RSK the fall before kindergarten started, and quickly gained the confidence and knowledge I needed to better advocate for my daughter. The materials were easy to access and understand, and they helped me facilitate positive conversations with my family and with Phoebe’s IEP team. The guest speakers were helpful and inspiring, while the instructors were amazing and supportive leaders. This experience has changed our lives for the better."
